Sometimes a caller gives an incomplete or unclear address. Tinylawn still creates the lead when it can — and you can fix the address so property data and Virtual Site Reports stay accurate.
Why addresses can be wrong
Phone conversations are fast. Callers may:
- Give a partial street address
- Spell a street name unclearly
- Share a landmark instead of a full address
When that happens, enrichment and mapping may be incomplete until the address is corrected.
How to correct an address
1. Open the lead (or property) with the wrong address.
2. Choose the option to correct or update the address.
3. Search for and select the correct address.
4. Save.
After you save, Tinylawn can re-enrich the property and refresh related maps and reports.
Customer confirmation links
In some cases, the customer may receive a text or link asking them to confirm or correct their address themselves. When they submit the correct address, your lead and property records update accordingly.
Tips
- Fix bad addresses before you quote — accurate lot and map data helps.
- If enrichment looks empty, check the address first.
- After correcting, reopen the lead a moment later to see the updated Virtual Site Report and parcel details.
