Overview

What is the Services Catalog?

The Services Catalog is where you define all the services your business offers. Your AI Receptionist uses this information to answer questions, and services can appear on your lead capture forms.

Services Components

Understanding Services

Each service in your catalog includes:

- Name - What you call the service

- Description - Details about what's included

- Price - Base pricing information

- Form Visibility - Whether it appears on forms and available to the AI receptionist

- Price Visibility - Whether the price is public or wether the price is variable and you prefer that they 'Contact for Quote'

- Starting Price - Whether the price is fixed or just a starting price

Accessing the Catalog

Navigate to Catalog > Services to:

- View all your services

- Add new services

- Edit existing services

- Control visibility

Adding Services

  1. Go to Catalog > Services

  2. Click New Service

  3. Fill in the service details:

Service Naming

Choose a clear, customer-friendly name:

- ✅ "Weekly Lawn Mowing"

- ✅ "Spring Cleanup"

- ✅ "Hedge Trimming"

- ❌ "SVC-001" (not customer-facing)

Description

Explain what's included:

- List key activities

- Mention any requirements

- Note frequency if applicable

Example: > "Complete weekly lawn maintenance including mowing, edging, and blowing. Clippings are mulched or bagged upon request. Available for residential properties up to 1/2 acre."

Price

Set your base price:

- Enter the starting price

- You can note "starting at" in descriptions

- Actual quotes can vary by property

Show Price Publicly

Toggle this option to:

- ON - Price is displayed to clients and made available to AI receptionist during calls

- OFF - Price is not made public to clients and instead will be requested to contact for a quote

  • Click Save

How Services Are Used

AI Receptionist

Your AI Receptionist references your services to:

- Answer "What services do you offer?"

- Respond to specific service inquiries

- Capture service requests from callers

Lead Capture Forms

When "Show on Form" is enabled:

- Services appear as options on forms

- Visitors can select services they need

- Selections are saved with the lead

Best Practices

Be Specific

Create separate services for distinct offerings:

- ✅ "Weekly Lawn Mowing" + "Bi-Weekly Lawn Mowing"

- ❌ "Lawn Mowing (various frequencies)"

Customer-Friendly Language

Use terms your customers understand:

- ✅ "Spring Cleanup & Mulching"

- ❌ "Phase 1 Seasonal Maintenance Package"

Keep Prices Updated

  • Review pricing regularly

  • Update when costs change

  • Note if prices are estimates

Strategic Form Visibility

Show on forms:

- ✅ Popular, well-defined services

- ✅ Services with straightforward pricing

- ❌ Complex services requiring consultation

- ❌ Services you're phasing out
